Built in 1886, this courtyard cottage is in
the heart of Eureka Springs’ Historic Downtown. Step out
the front door and relax on the porch while gazing upon the 100
year old
stone
walls and colorful gardens. In the hush of early morning
or at dusk, expect a visit from our family of deer.
The Cobbler’s Cottage is one of the oldest homes
in Historic Eureka Springs and was the recipient of three
1994
Excellence
in Restoration Awards. This charming dwelling offers a
winning combination of quaint charm and contemporary luxury. The Cobblers has two floors with a bedroom on each, both with
queen size beds. One bedroom is located upstairs in a romantic,
secluded loft. The bath upstairs includes a Jacuzzi for two.
On the ground level there is a sitting room with a comfortable
couch and other seating, cable TV/VCR and a vaulted ceiling with
a ceiling fan. Just beyond is a dining nook with a booth beautifully
made from old church pews. Around the corner is the kitchen area
with a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. The kitchen
is complete with drinking glasses & wine glasses, coffee
cups, a set of china, silverware and napkins.
The second bedroom and a bath with a shower are located past
the dining and kitchen areas. The entire cottage is decorated
in antiques and other appointments of the period.

While the Rosewood offers three distinct suites, it may also accommodate
large groups or families when utilized as a single unit, comfortably
sleeping 11 guests. This historic treasure is located on the Historic
Loop, just a few blocks from downtown.
Rosewood Suite
The
Rosewood Suite is a charming, three room suite which comfortably
sleeps 2-4 people and includes a private front porch with
cushioned, wicker furniture. The parlor offers a fireplace, armoire
with
TV, VCR, video library and comfortable seating on the queen
size sleeper sofa and wingback chair. The refreshment center,
located in the hallway includes a refrigerator, microwave
and coffee maker. The bedroom offers a queen size, antique brass
bed surrounded by local art and antique accents. The bath
blends
the best of the past and the present. In an alcove off one
end of the bath is an oversized Jacuzzi for two; on the opposite
end is a claw foot tub/shower.
Sweet Dreams Suite The Sweet Dreams Suite is a two-level suite which can comfortably
sleep 2-5 people. The upper level is a romantic retreat offering
a king size brass bed with soft quilts, antique wicker furniture
and television. Your private, oversized Jacuzzi bath overlooks
the treetops through stained glass windows.
The lower level offers a complete kitchen furnished with stove,
refrigerator, microwave, cookware, dinnerware and utensils. An
antique table, which seats four, a twin size sleeper sofa, chaise
lounge and antique pot belly stove are located off the kitchen
in our den/dining room. You step down into the sun room which
has three walls of windows accented with crisp white curtains.
The simoom has a queen size sleeper sofa, leather chairs, a
pub table with four chairs and a pot belly stove. A TV/VCR, video
library, and Playstation are also found in this warm, inviting
room. Your private patio is just outside the door.
Rosie’s Cottage Rosie’s Cottage is a cozy one bedroom hideaway with a
private three quarter bath, tucked off the courtyard. Open the
door to a charming, white iron bed covered with soft quilts and
surrounded with stained glass. A small refrigerator, coffee pot,
microwave, TV and VCR are added for your convenience and pleasure. Each suite has its own private entrance. We can arrange the house
so that it may be rented as one large unit, with or without
Rosie’s Cottage, depending on your needs.
